Job summary

YUM SING PTE. LTD. is seeking a restaurant service associate in Singapore to deliver food and beverages, set up tables and ensure orders align with tickets. You will also operate POS for beverage orders and support daily operations.

The role requires a proactive attitude, willingness to work 5.5 days per week including public holidays and weekends, and good communication. Mandarin-speaking applicants have an advantage.

Qualifications

• No prior hospitality experience required; training is provided.
• Willing to work 5.5 days per week including public holidays and weekends.
• Mandarin language liaison is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Set up and replace tableware to prepare tables for customers.
• Serve food and beverages to ensure orders match the tickets and tables.
• Operate POS systems for beverage orders.
• Provide go-the-extra-mile service to enhance customer experience.
• Maintain hygiene, safety and hygiene standards per policy.
• Assist in opening, operating, and closing shifts according to staff roster.
• Suggest area improvements and participate in daily operations.

Job Description:

• Set up cutlery, crockery and glassware on table and replace soiled tableware and service items to prepare the table for the next customers
• Serve food and beverages to ensure all dishes match the order ticket to the corresponding tables
• Operate Point of Sales (POS) Systems when managing beverage order
• Provide go-the-extra-mile service to create a positive customer experience
• Maintain hygiene, safety, and standards, follow the organization’s personal, food and beverage hygiene standards
• Assist in opening, operating, and closing of shifts and execute daily operational tasks according to staff roster
• Suggest areas and execute continuous improvement activities within work area

Job Requirements:

• Capable to liaise with Mandarin speaking associates will be advantage
• With or without relevant experience are welcome (training will be provided)
• Willing to work 5.5days per week
• Willing to work on Public Holiday and weekends
