Job summary

Talent-Merge Singapore seeks an experienced Learning & Development Manager to design and execute training strategies aligned with maritime industry needs. You will partner with department heads to identify skill gaps and build programs for both shore-based and seafaring staff.

You will manage training budgets, coordinate internal and external sessions, ensure compliance with maritime regulations, and drive adoption of new digital learning tools to enhance efficiency and staff development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business administration, maritime studies, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years as Learning & Development manager, with maritime industry experience.
• Knowledge of maritime training requirements, regulations, and standards.
• Experience in training needs analysis, program development, and LMS.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
