Triton AI Pte Ltd on Jurong Island is seeking a Shift Maintenance Technician / Mechanical Fitter to support critical plant equipment, boiler systems and overall reliability. The role focuses on preventive, corrective and breakdown maintenance to keep production running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Minimum Higher Nitec in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant maintenance experience in chemical, petrochemical or related industries.
• Valid Boiler Attendant Class 1 Certificate is mandatory.
• Strong hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Experience with rotating and static equipment maintenance.
• Familiarity with PTW, LOTO, risk assessment and safety requirements.
• Experience with SAP or CMMS is advantageous.
• Additional certs in Forklift, Working at Height, RA and PTW are advantageous.
• Able to work independently and in a team; willing to 12-hour rotating shifts.

They are seeking an experienced Shift Maintenance Technician / Mechanical Fitter to join their maintenance team, supporting critical plant equipment, industrial boiler systems and overall manufacturing reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, corrective and breakdown maintenance on plant machinery, rotating and static equipment to ensure equipment reliability and minimise production downtime.

• Troubleshoot, maintain and support the start-up and shutdown of industrial boiler systems, ensuring safe and efficient operations.

• Conduct routine equipment inspections, identify potential faults and implement corrective actions to maintain plant operability.

• Coordinate and supervise contractors, vendors and service providers, ensuring maintenance activities are completed safely and according to established standards.

• Implement Permit-to-Work (PTW), Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) and risk assessment procedures to ensure compliance with workplace safety requirements.

• Interpret engineering drawings, technical diagrams and maintenance documentation to support troubleshooting and repair activities.

• Support equipment upgrades, plant improvement initiatives and maintenance-related projects.

• Prepare maintenance and inspection reports, ensuring accurate documentation and timely closure of SAP maintenance work orders.

• Collaborate with production, engineering and maintenance teams to resolve equipment issues and improve plant performance.

• Ensure compliance with Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) standards, regulatory requirements and good housekeeping practices.

Requirements

• Minimum Higher Nitec in Engineering or a related technical discipline.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant maintenance experience, preferably within the Chemical, Petrochemical, Oil & Gas or related process manufacturing industries.

• Valid Boiler Attendant Class 1 Certificate is mandatory.

• Strong hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance, equipment troubleshooting and maintenance of rotating and static equipment.

• Practical knowledge of industrial boiler maintenance, troubleshooting, start-up and shutdown procedures.

• Familiarity with PTW, LOTO, risk assessment and industrial workplace safety requirements.

• Experience with SAP or other Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) would be advantageous.

• Additional certifications in Forklift Operation, Working at Height (WAH), Risk Assessment (RA) and Permit-to-Work (PTW) would be an advantage.

• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

• Willing to work 12-hour rotating shifts and perform overtime when operationally required.
