Job summary

Link2 Manpower Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance, repair and servicing of production machinery, equipment and plant facilities within a manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate should have hands-on experience in troubleshooting, repairing, servicing and maintaining production machinery and equipment, with a willingness to work overtime and on-call when required.

Qualifications

• NITEC/NTC certification in mechanical or related technical discipline.
• Hands-on experience in mechanical repair and maintenance in manufacturing.
• Ability to troubleshoot production machinery and identify faults.

Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of production machinery and equipment.
• Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance and TPM activities.
• Maintain maintenance work orders and equipment checklists.
• Diagnose faults and carry out corrective actions.
• Attend to minor repair requests from other departments.
• Support facility services including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance, repair and servicing of production machinery, equipment and plant facilities within a manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate should have hands‑on experience in troubleshooting, repairing, servicing and maintaining production machinery and equipment .

Key Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of production machinery and equipment.
• Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities.
• Maintain preventive maintenance programmes for production equipment and plant facilities.
• Perform daily start-up checks of production and facilities machinery.
• Diagnose machinery or equipment faults and carry out necessary corrective actions.
• Maintain and update maintenance work orders, TPM downtime records, compressor operating hours, equipment checklists and related documentation.
• Fabricate jigs and fixtures to support manufacturing processes when required.
• Attend to minor repair requests from other departments.
• Support the maintenance and upkeep of facility services, including air‑conditioning, sprinkler protection systems, plumbing, power and lighting.
• Support hot‑work permit documentation and other relevant maintenance records.
• Conduct weekly Single Point Training for production operators.
• Maintain proper housekeeping and safe working practices during maintenance activities.

Requirements

• NITEC / NTC certification, preferably in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Relevant hands‑on experience in machinery and equipment repair and maintenance within a manufacturing environment .
• Able to troubleshoot production machinery and identify equipment faults.
• Experience performing preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Able to work overtime when required based on operational requirements.
• Good troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Able to work independently as well as part of a maintenance team.
