Job summary

KURITA (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. seeks a hands-on Operations Engineer to manage water systems across designated sites. You will lead an operations team to ensure continuous, safe and efficient plant performance.

Key duties include planning schedules, coordinating chemical supply with vendors, generating client reports, and addressing emergencies or water-quality issues promptly. Strong technical aptitude and cross-cultural teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in chemical, mechanical, electrical or environmental engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience in water treatment operations, maintenance, or construction.
• Strong technical aptitude to solve site issues.
• Ability to work in a multi-cultural team with good customer relations.

Responsibilities

• Stationed permanently at assigned operation sites.
• Operate and maintain water systems.

• Generate regular reports for clients (consumption, calibration, PM, monthly).
• Respond to emergency operation issues and water quality deviations.

• Collaborate with internal teams for effective operations and maintenance.
• Provide system improvements and advise management.
• Take leadership of KSP team and communicate with customers.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• To be stationed permanently at assigned operation sites.
• Operation and upkeep of water systems.
• Manage an operation team to achieve efficient and smooth operation.
• Overall manage operation team manpower for operation duty.
• Plan schedule & liaise with vendor/supplier for the supply of chemicals and ensure sufficient chemical for continuous plant operation.
• Generate regular reports to clients, e.g. chemical consumption, calibration reports, equipment PM reports and monthly reports.
• Generate and explain incident reports to the client.
• Respond to emergency call for operation issues anytime, repair and water quality out of specification issue.
• Troubleshooting of issues and recommend counter measures or improvements.
• Optimization of operations chemical & energy consumption and manpower usage.
• Ensure efficient communications with clients, thus achieving the client’s satisfaction.
• Work with internal teams to achieve effective operations& maintenance.
• System improvement, design for new water system and advice to management.
• Take leadership to KSP team and well communicate with customer

Qualifications Required:

• Educational credentials include Diploma/Degreein Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical or Environmental Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in operations,maintenance, or construction of water treatment facilities. Experience with ultra-pure water systems willbe an advantage.
• Good technical aptitude to solve site issues.
• Able to work in a multi-cultural teamenvironment.
• Great customer relationship skills.
