Job summary

Takasago International (Singapore) Pte Ltd is seeking a maintenance professional to ensure optimal operation of plant utilities and production equipment in a fast-paced facility in Singapore. Responsibilities include monitoring WWTP, RO, chillers, compressors, and production equipment; coordinating with vendors; and performing preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant plant utilities maintenance experience in a similar industrial environment.
• Proven experience operating and maintaining plant utility systems.
• Hands-on experience with boiler steam systems is an added value.
• Experience in production equipment maintenance; knowledge of spray dryer operation is a plus.
• Able to work rotating shifts, including weekends.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, operate, and maintain utility systems and production equipment (WWTP, odor containment, RO water system, chillers, air compressors, nitrogen distribution).
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for maintenance works, spare parts procurement, and chemical supplies.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance and inspections on all systems and equipment.

Job description

The ideal candidate must be able to work rotating shift work. This role involves ensuring optimal operation, performing regular maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating with vendors and contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor, operate, and maintain utility systems and production equipment, including but not limited to:

• Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP); Odor Containment System with chemical scrubber; Reverse Osmosis (RO) water system;Chillers, cooling towers, and chilled water recirculation system;Air compressor systems;Nitrogen distribution system;Production equipment such as spray dryers, powder blenders, liquid mixers/tanks, etc.

• Chemical top-ups for systems like WWTP and chemical scrubbers

• Removal and proper disposal of waste residues, such as flocculated sludge in WWTP

• Replacement of spent chemical solutions in scrubbers

• Periodic inspection and preventive maintenance of all systems and production equipment

• Coordinate and liaise with vendors and contractors for maintenance works, spare parts procurement, and chemical supplies.

Job requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of relevant plant utilities maintenance experience in the similar industrial environment.

• Proven experience operating and maintaining plant utility systems.
