Job summary

ELITEZ AVIATION PTE. LTD. is seeking a Maintenance & Facility Engineer to support maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and improvement of production machinery and site facilities in a manufacturing environment.

You will handle preventive and corrective maintenance, respond to breakdowns and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. You will work with CNC lathe, milling and gear machines, along with other equipment, and coordinate with OEMs and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Degree with at least 2 years' relevant experience OR Diploma with at least 5 years' relevant experience in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant maintenance engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience in troubleshooting, repair, maintenance and equipment improvement.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of production machines, site facilities, instruments and equipment.
• Respond to machine breakdowns, malfunctions and urgent maintenance issues to minimise production downtime.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance (PM) programmes and practices.
• Support corrective maintenance, TPM and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Troubleshoot and maintain manufacturing equipment, including CNC lathe, milling and gear machines, as well as cleaning lines, furnaces and plating equipment.
• Conduct root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve equipment reliability.
• Support machine and equipment installation and commissioning.
• Coordinate with OEMs, machine agents, contractors and suppliers for repairs, calibration and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records in the CMMS system.
• Provide technical recommendations on maintenance requirements and equipment improvements.

About the role

About you

• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Experience with CNC machinery, preferably CNC lathe, milling and gear machines.
• Experience with preventive/corrective maintenance, TPM and root-cause analysis.
• Experience in reducing machine downtime and improving equipment reliability.
• Good analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently as well as with internal teams, OEMs, contractors and suppliers.
