Job summary

Changi Travel Services Pte Ltd is seeking a maintenance professional to support daily operations in a transit hotel environment. You will respond to maintenance requests, perform minor repairs, and help ensure room readiness while maintaining safety and compliance standards.

You should have basic skills in electrical, plumbing, carpentry and painting, be able to work independently, and be flexible to shifts, weekends and holidays. Physically able to lift, climb ladders, and use tools safely.

• Safety awareness and willingness to follow procedures.
• Physically able to perform maintenance duties, including lifting and climbing ladders.
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guest rooms, public areas and operational departments.
• Carry out minor repairs such as fixing door locks, hinges, handles, furniture, fittings and fixtures.
• Address basic plumbing issues including leaks, blockages, loose fittings and flushing mechanisms.
• Perform basic low-risk electrical tasks, such as replacing light fittings, switches, sockets, and lamps, under authorised guidance.
• Support room readiness by prioritising maintenance issues that delay room release.
• Coordinate repair timing with housekeeping and front office to minimise guest waiting time.
• Support preventive maintenance schedules through routine checks and assigned tasks.
• Carry out touch-up works such as minor painting, sealing, tightening and adjustments.
• Identify early signs of wear and tear and report them for planned corrective action.
• Use tools and equipment safely and correctly at all times.
