Job summary

WECRUIT PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a maintenance technician to plan, coordinate and perform preventive maintenance, inspect and calibrate plant equipment, and support electrical and instrumentation tasks.

You will diagnose PLC‑controlled systems, assist with installation and upgrades, liaise with contractors, and document procedures while ensuring EHS compliance. This on-site role offers the chance to contribute to reliability and efficiency improvements in a dynamic facility environment

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and carry out preventive maintenance activities, including inspection, measurement and test equipment (IMTE) management and calibration of plant equipment.
• Plan and coordinate routine and ad-hoc maintenance activities for building facilities, utilities and related systems.
• Perform hands‑on maintenance activities, including basic electrical and instrumentation troubleshooting.
• Conduct basic fault diagnosis and troubleshooting for PLC‑controlled equipment, SCADA and HMI systems.
• Support the installation, commissioning, upgrading and improvement of new and existing equipment.
• Assist with feasibility studies, technical assessments and maintenance planning for equipment and system improvement projects.
• Coordinate, liaise with and supervise contractors carrying out maintenance, repair and improvement works.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including approval papers, work instructions, training materials and submissions to relevant authorities.
• Support spare parts and maintenance inventory management, including sourcing quotations, comparing prices, negotiating with suppliers and placing orders.
• Support the Technical Department in Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) activities, including risk assessments and compliance with company procedures and applicable regulatory requirements.
