Job summary

Cosmology in Singapore is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to operate milling and lathe machines, setups, and ensure quality parts. 5-axis experience is an advantage.

You will read and interpret technical drawings, perform precise measurements, and collaborate with the manufacturing team to meet delivery targets. A minimum of five years working with Fanuc and Mitsubishi controls is preferred, with strong attention to detail and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience operating milling and lathe CNC machines.
• Solid knowledge of cutting tool application, part setting and machine setting on Fanuc and Mitsubishi controls.
• Programming knowledge is an added advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and good teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform milling/lathe setting and operate for CNC machines
• To program, set and operate multi-axis CNC Milling, 5-axis experience an advantage
• Interpret technical drawing
• Perform dimensional and geometric measurement
• Solve problems and make decisions at machinist level

Requirements

• Preferred minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in operating milling/lathe machines
• Good knowledge of cutting tool application, part setting and machine setting (Fanuc & Mitsubishi) in different sizes.
