Job summary

BAUMANN SPRING CO. (S) PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Setter (Technician) to set up and operate production machinery, perform tool changes, and make process adjustments to meet production targets.

You will conduct first-piece inspections, troubleshoot faults, and perform preventive maintenance while adhering to safety and quality standards. Experience with CNC, stamping, or molding is a plus; a technical qualification is required.

Qualifications

• NITEC or higher qualification in mechanical engineering or related discipline.
• 1–3 years of manufacturing/production experience.
• Experience with CNC/production equipment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Set up production machines according to schedules and instructions.
• Perform tooling changes and machine parameter settings.
• Conduct first-piece inspections and accept/reject products.
• Diagnose and resolve machine faults and perform basic maintenance.
• Monitor quality and productivity, ensure safety and clean work area.
