Job summary

BAUMANN SPRING CO. (S) PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Production Operator to operate spring manufacturing machines, load materials, follow drawings, and monitor performance to achieve daily targets while ensuring safety and quality.

You will conduct basic quality checks using calipers and gauges, assist in machine setup, support material handling, and uphold 5S standards in a lean manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Secondary education with NITEC or equivalent required; fresh grads welcome.
• Experience in spring manufacturing or wire-forming advantageous.
• Ability to read simple engineering drawings and follow work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate spring coiling, forming, grinding and secondary-process machines.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of springs.
• Support machine setup, tooling changes, and material handling.
• Maintain 5S discipline and wear PPE.
• Participate in lean improvement and waste reduction initiatives.
