FPT Asia Pacific is seeking an experienced Application DBA / Stored Procedure Developer to support the migration of a legacy Sybase environment to a modern SQL-based platform.

The role focuses on application-level database development, analysing existing stored procedures, re-engineering embedded business logic, and ensuring functional accuracy throughout the migration process.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in application-level database development or stored procedure engineering.
• Strong knowledge of Sybase stored procedures and database architecture.
• Proficiency in T-SQL or equivalent SQL technologies.
• Experience analysing and re-engineering complex database business logic.
• Experience in database migration, schema conversion, and functional validation.
• Familiarity with ETL pipelines and data migration methodologies is an advantage.
