eAspire Technolabs Inc. seeks an experienced Application DBA / Stored Procedure Developer to support database migrations, stored procedure conversion, and application-level database development.

The role involves analyzing Sybase procedures, converting them to T-SQL, validating results, and working with developers to ensure cohesive integration with applications. Ideal candidates will have 3+ years of experience in database development, strong Sybase expertise, and proficiency in T-SQL or

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in application-level database development or stored procedure engineering.
• Strong expertise in Sybase stored procedures and database architecture.
• Proficiency in T-SQL or an equivalent SQL dialect.
• Ability to analyze and re-engineer complex business logic embedded in stored procedures.

Responsabilités

• Analyse and document existing Sybase stored procedures to understand embedded business logic.
• Re-engineer and convert stored procedures to T-SQL or target platform dialect.
• Validate converted procedures to ensure functional equivalence and outputs.
• Collaborate with application developers to resolve dependencies between database logic and code.
• Support database schema migration and data integrity validation.
• Participate in migration wave testing, cutover activities, and post-migration validation.
• Experience with ETL pipelines and data migration methodologies is a plus.
