SCP also manages our engagement with the Board of Directors and our parent ministry, MTI.

The CP team plays a pivotal role in translating long-term strategy into actionable short- to medium-term plans, ensuring organisation-wide alignment and enabling the delivery of STB’s strategic priorities. Additionally, the officer will work with STB’s line units to seek alignment and monitor progress, organise timely, regular reviews of performance for senior management, develop and manage our annual reporting of targets and achievements to STB Board and MTI.
  • Work with relevant teams to set up the Management Dashboard on STB’s data analytics platform – The target users of the Management Dashboard are members of STB Management and line units. The officer must work closely with the technology teams to provide user needs on the desired visualisations and user experience.
  • Serve as STB’s deskhead for MTI – Working with MTI to manage key reporting platforms and updates for MTI senior management, and discussions on STB’s KPIs and priorities. This includes maintaining oversight of ministry-level / whole-of-government requests and understanding the implications on STB’s planning and processes as a statutory board within the MTI-Family, as well as collating input and data across STB for ad-hoc initiatives.
  • Organise the annual corporate planning cycle – For STB senior management and business units to formulate workplans in accordance with STB’s priorities. This involves the organisation of corporate planning discussions among management. The officer also needs to develop cogent and substantive guidance materials to help business units and market offices develop strong strategies for driving tourism performance.

Key Relationships – Within STB, you will be able to engage across all business teams and develop a keen understanding of the tourism landscape and its operating environment.
