About the role

We are seeking a dedicated M&E Site Co-ordinator to join VOIS PTE LTD in a full-time capacity, based in Kampong Ubi, Central Region. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless co-ordination and execution of mechanical and electrical works on site. As M&E Site Co-ordinator, you will serve as a critical liaison between the engineering team, contractors, and site management, ensuring that all mechanical and electrical installations, maintenance, and testing activities are carried out efficiently, safely, and in compliance with project specifications and regulatory requirements. This position offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact on project delivery and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Co-ordinate and schedule mechanical and electrical works on site to ensure optimal resource allocation and timely project completion
• Monitor and track the progress of M&E installations against project timelines, budgets, and quality standards
• Conduct regular inspections of mechanical and electrical systems to verify compliance with design specifications and industry standards
• Liaise with sub-contractors, suppliers, and engineering consultants to resolve technical issues and ensure effective communication
• Maintain comprehensive site records, including daily reports, test certificates, and equipment documentation
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) protocols on site and promote a culture of safety awareness
• Assist in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical equipment failures and coordinate remedial actions
• Prepare and submit status reports to project management and stakeholders on M&E work progress and any outstanding issues
• Support the procurement of M&E materials, spare parts, and equipment in consultation with the engineering team

What we're looking for

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in mechanical and electrical site co-ordination or site engineering roles
• Strong knowledge of M&E systems, installation practices, and commissioning procedures
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting M&E drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
• Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams
• Proficiency in relevant software such as project management tools and CAD applications (desirable)
• Ability to work on-site in varying environmental conditions and demonstrate flexibility with work schedules
• Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high quality standards
