Job summary

Ming Yan Engineering Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a qualified Quantity Surveyor to manage commercial aspects of M&E and renovation projects.

You will prepare quotations, tender documents and BOQs, perform quantity take-offs and cost analyses, and liaise with suppliers and clients. The role requires 1–3 years of relevant QS experience, a Diploma in Quantity Surveying or equivalent, and strong communication and contract administration skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of QS experience in M&E / Renovation.
• Good knowledge of tendering, costing, quantity take-off and contract administration.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Able to work independently and with project teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quotations, tender documents and BOQ for M&E and renovation projects.
• Perform quantity take-off, costing and price analysis.
• Source and compare quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Handle progress claims, variation orders and final accounts.
• Monitor project costs, budgets and procurement.
• Manage subcontractors and liaise with clients, consultants and suppliers.
• Attend site meetings and assist with commercial and contractual matters.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
