Job summary

AN JUN YUAN CONSTRUCTION PTE LTD is seeking a full‑time M&E Quantity Surveyor in Singapore. Based in the Geylang Central Region, you will manage financial aspects of M&E construction projects, prepare quotations, cost estimates, and tender documents, and monitor costs to prevent overruns.

You will liaise with main contractors, analyse tender submissions, and provide cost forecasting and reporting to the project team.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying.
• Minimum 2 years in tendering/costing experience (M&E/Plumbing).
• Strong understanding of M&E systems and cost management principles.
• Proficient in quantity surveying software and cost tools.

Responsibilities

About the role

This is a full-time M&E Quantity Surveyor position at AN JUN YUAN CONSTRUCTION PTE LTD' based in Geylang Central Region. As an M&E Quantity Surveyor, you will play a vital role in managing the financial aspects of the company's mechanical and electrical construction projects, ensuring their successful delivery.

What you'll be doing

1. Liaise with main contractors to identify water-related projects and opportunities.
2. Prepare and submit accurate project quotations and cost estimates.
3. Conduct site visits and gather necessary project information for tender preparation.
4. Maintain records of quotations, submissions, and project communications.
5. Prepare and manage accurate bills of quantities, cost estimates, and tender documents for M&E projects
6. Analyse and evaluate tender submissions from M&E subcontractors
7. Negotiate and manage M&E subcontractor agreements and variations
8. Monitor and control M&E project costs, highlighting any potential issues or overruns
9. Provide financial reporting and project cost forecasting to the project management team
10. Assist with the resolution of M&E contractual and commercial disputes
11. Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards

What we're looking for

1. Recognized Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying and with relevant working experience as M&E QS.
2. Minimum 2 years of experience in Project Tendering/Costing experience(Plumbing Project).
3. Strong understanding of M&E systems, construction practices, and cost management principles
4. Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
5. Proficient in the use of quantity surveying software and cost management tools
6. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with project teams
7. Familiarity with relevant construction regulations, contracts, and procurement processes
8. Able to work independently and be a good team player as well.
