Job summary

WECRUIT PTE. LTD. is seeking a Project Engineer to coordinate and execute assigned project activities, ensuring conformity with drawings, schedules, and EHS standards.

You will review specifications, liaise with consultants and subcontractors, prepare work programmes, monitor site execution, maintain quality records, and control costs. EA License No: 20C0270 and Wecruit Pte Ltd.

Qualifications

• Review project specifications, ISO requirements, technical drawings and contractual requirements.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors and stakeholders to resolve technical issues before construction.
• Prepare and submit short-term and medium-term work programmes for review and approval.
• Execute project activities according to approved schedules and construction plans.
• Coordinate technical matters involving ERSS, precast works, structural interfaces and facilities planning.

Responsibilities

• Monitor site works to ensure compliance with drawings, quality procedures and EHS requirements.
• Maintain proper site housekeeping and promote safe working conditions.
• Implement quality control procedures, maintain quality records and analyse inspection results.

Job description

Reporting to the Manager or Team Leader, the Project Engineer is responsible for coordinating and executing assigned project activities to ensure works are completed according to project specifications, approved drawings, schedules, quality standards and EHS requirements.

Project Planning & Technical Coordination

Review and understand project specifications, ISO requirements, technical drawings, contractual requirements and subcontract agreements.

Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors and relevant stakeholders to resolve technical issues before construction.

Prepare and submit short-term and medium-term work programmes for review and approval.

Execute project activities according to approved schedules and construction plans.

Coordinate technical matters involving ERSS, precast works, structural interfaces and facilities planning, where applicable.

Site Execution & Quality Management

Monitor site works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, quality procedures and EHS requirements.

Maintain proper site housekeeping and promote safe and organised working conditions.

Implement quality control procedures, maintain quality records and analyse inspection results.

Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to enhance project quality.

Maintain proper documentation to meet client, authority, quality and EHS requirements.

Cost & Resource Management

Monitor material usage and ensure proper handling of temporary and permanent works materials.

Minimise material wastage, damage, rework and abortive works.

Support project cost control and ensure efficient use of resources.

Perform other project-related duties assigned by the Project Manager.
