Job summary

WECRUIT PTE. LTD. is seeking a construction project coordinator to review drawings, specs and ISO requirements, and to coordinate subcontractor and consultant input before works commence.

You will liaise with stakeholders to resolve technical issues and support timely construction activities. The role involves developing short- and medium-term schedules, monitoring site progress for quality and EHS compliance, maintaining records, and ensuring safe, orderly site operations.

Responsibilities

• Review project drawings, technical specifications, ISO requirements, contractual obligations and subcontract agreements to ensure a clear understanding of project requirements.
• Liaise with consultants and relevant project stakeholders to resolve technical issues and discrepancies before the commencement of construction works.
• Develop short- and medium-term work schedules for management review and approval, and coordinate site activities in accordance with the approved project programme.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, quality control procedures and EHS requirements.
• Promote good housekeeping practices and maintain an orderly, clean and safe working environment.
• Carry out quality inspections, maintain inspection records, analyse results and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records to meet company, client and relevant regulatory requirements for quality and EHS.
• Monitor material usage, storage and handling for temporary and permanent works to prevent damage and minimise wastage.
• Identify potential construction defects, rework and abortive works, and coordinate preventive measures to reduce unnecessary costs and project delays.
• Work closely with the project team to resolve site issues and support the timely completion of construction activities.
• Perform other reasonable project-related duties assigned by the Project Manager.
