Job summary

MTC Consulting Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking an experienced M&E Project Engineer to oversee mechanical and electrical works on a Balestier-based project.

You will manage M&E activities across the project lifecycle and coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure timely execution. The role requires a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, strong knowledge of M&E systems, and relevant building construction experience, preferably on A1 main contractor

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Relevant experience in M&E building construction for commercial, industrial or high rise private residential projects, preferably with A1 main contractors.
• Strong knowledge of M&E systems, construction practices and relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage mechanical and electrical works throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors and project teams to ensure smooth M&E project execution.
• Review and monitor M&E drawings, specifications, installation and testing & commissioning.
• Ensure M&E works comply with project requirements, statutory regulations, quality and safety standards.
• Monitor project progress, schedules and costs, and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
• Manage M&E subcontractors and coordinate site activities to ensure works are completed on schedule.
• Attend site meetings and provide technical support and updates to project management.
