Job summary

bhcc construction pte. ltd. in Singapore seeks an experienced M&E Manager to lead planning, control and monitoring of project resources to meet objectives.

You will attend technical and site meetings with consultants and ensure compliance with regulations and client specifications. You will implement project changes, monitor progress and progress claims, study M&E drawings, coordinate with consultants and subcontractors, and guide the team to achieve project goals in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering or related fields; PE Board recognized degree is preferred.
• Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience as M&E Manager in large scale projects.
• Good understanding of Singapore building regulations, statutory requirements, and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the overall planning, controlling and monitoring and also managing and directing the assigned project resources to best meet the project objectives.
• Attend technical and site meetings with consultants;
• Ensure the project complies with regulations and clients’ specifications
• Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
• Monitor and follow up on construction progress and progress claims
• Study M&E drawings and coordinate M&E works with the consultants and sub-contractors to resolve any technical / site issues;
• Interfacing or M&E planning, coordination with consultants and document control such as monitoring of sample submission, approval status of drawing
• Ensure team members understand their roles and requirements in meeting the project objectives.
• Establish and communicate project management procedures to the team for issue resolution, scope control and progress reporting in line with Master Construction Programme.
• Adhere to safety and health regulations and aim for zero accident in the workplace
• Ensure safety and housekeeping is to maintained to the highest standard
• Undertake other ad-hoc duties as and when assigned
