Job summary

Temasek Polytechnic (TP) in Singapore seeks an Assistant Manager (Hard Services) to oversee Estates & Facilities Management, ensuring safe and efficient operation of M&E systems. You will manage service providers, drive maintenance quality, and optimize performance through CMMS dashboards.

The role requires engineering qualifications and 5+ years in M&E operations, with knowledge of BMS platforms (Johnson Controls, Carrier) and BIM as an advantage.

Qualifications

• Engineering qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services or related.
• 5+ years of operation and maintenance experience for M&E systems in commercial or institutional settings.
• Experience with BMS platforms (Johnson Controls, Carrier) and BIM is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe, compliant and efficient operation of M&E systems in line with SOPs and statutory requirements.
• Oversee service providers and monitor performance against SLAs and KPIs including uptime and energy parameters.
• Utilise CMMS and dashboards to monitor trends, challenge root causes and drive cost-effective improvements.
• Verify compliance with safety, environmental and statutory regulations through inspections and audits.
• Coordinate technical support for A&A, sustainability and equipment upgrading projects; review specs and manage change control.
• Maintain accurate asset records and annual asset verification.
