Job summary

ADEN M&E PTE. LTD. is seeking a site supervisor to oversee gas pipe installation works at project sites in Singapore. You will plan daily activities, read M&E drawings, and ensure work aligns with drawings, specs and programs.

The role requires coordinating with main contractors and engineers, supervising manpower and materials, and maintaining quality. Overtime, weekend and occasional night shifts are expected to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising M&E pipe installation projects.
• Ability to read and interpret M&E drawings, specifications and method statements.
• Willing to work overtime, weekends, and travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate Gas pipe installation works at the project site.
• Plan and allocate daily work activities to workers and subcontractors.
• Read and interpret M&E drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Ensure all works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with main contractors, consultants, engineers, and other trades to avoid work clashes.
• Monitor manpower, materials, tools, and equipment required for the works.
• Check the quality and workmanship of M&E installations and rectify defects where necessary.
• Ensure works are completed according to the project schedule and approved programme.
• Conduct daily toolbox briefings and ensure workers understand the work requirements and hazards.
• Identify unsafe conditions and take immediate corrective action.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning, and handover of M&E works.
• Maintain daily site records, progress reports, inspection records, and material usage records.
• Liaise with the Project Engineer/Manager regarding site progress, technical issues, and manpower requirements.
• Monitor and control wastage of materials and ensure proper storage and housekeeping.
• Willing to do physical work in peak working period.( Partition work , Ceiling work etc.) Ready to work after work time due to work pressure
• Saturday and Sunday work and sometime overnight work
• Ensure proper housekeeping and safe working conditions at the work place. Assist in material inspection, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
