Job summary

SMCC Overseas Singapore PTE. LTD. invites an experienced M&E Site Supervisor to oversee on-site mechanical and electrical works on industrial projects in Singapore.

You will work under the Project Manager / M&E Manager to ensure safety, quality, and schedule compliance. The role requires a Certificate/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and at least 3 years of on-site M&E supervision, with strong communication, teamwork, and MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise M&E works (HVAC, Plumbing & Sanitary / Gas, Fire Protection; Electrical – Power & Lighting, Earthing & Lightning Protection, ELV, Lift, Fire Alarm).
• Coordinate M&E works with construction and liaise with Client, building professionals, subcontractors.
• Monitor project status, site progress and update project schedule.
• Provide solutions for M&E site issues.
• Prepare site event/inspection records and related documentation.

Job Description & Requirements

Assist Project Manager / Construction and M&E Manager / M&E Engineer to manage and execute the M&E work so that the project will complete in accordance with the authority requirement and consultant design, at the same time meet the safety, quality and schedule requirement.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervise M&E works (Mechanical – HVAC, Plumbing & Sanitary / Gas, Fire Protection. Electrical – Power & Lighting, Earthing & Lightning Protection, Extra Low Voltage System, Lift installation, Fire Alarm etc).
• Coordinate M&E works with all aspects of construction and liaise with Client, building professionals, sub-contractors.
• Monitor project status, site progress and update project schedule.
• Expected to provide solutions for M&E site issues.
• Prepare record of the site event / activities and inspection records etc.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
