Job summary

Nakano Singapore (Pte) Ltd is looking for a qualified individual to coordinate with consultants and subcontractors on shop drawings and method statements. The successful candidate will attend meetings to resolve site issues and verify work compliance with approved standards.

This role involves conducting weekly M&E meetings, ensuring documentation is ready for ISO audits, and cooperating with the safety department. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential for smooth site progress.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with consultants/subcontractors on shop drawings, samples, and method statements.
• Attend project/technical meetings to resolve site issues.
• Verify work done on site aligns with approved drawings and standards.
• Conduct weekly M&E meetings with M&E sub-contractors.
• Resolve site issues with consultants and subcontractors to minimize delays.
• Ensure documentation is ready for ISO audit.
• Cooperate with the safety department in carrying out duties.
• Coordinate for combined services/equipment testing.

Job description

• To coordinate with consultants/subcontractors on the shopdrawings/ samples/ method statement and keep all involved parties updated of the latest changes.
• To attend project/technical meeting and resolve site issues with owner/consultants in order for the site progress to proceed smoothly.
• To verify the work done on site is in accordance with the approved drawings/ specifications/ authorities requirement and also ensured that the subcontractor carry out rectification for non-compliance.
• Conduct weekly M&E meeting with the M&E sub-contractors to ensure that their work is in proper sequence and ensure that the site supervisors are aware of the work sequence so as to avoid clashes of site activities.
• To resolve site issues with consultants/subcontractor/supplier ASAP in order to minimise delay to the construction progress.
• To ensure that the related documentations are updated and ready for ISO audit.
• To cooperate with the safety department and carry out the assigned duties within the safety framework including permit to work.
• To coordinate with consultants and contractors for combined services/equipment testing so that site is ready for authorities inspection.
