Job summary

The Anglo-Chinese School (Independent) seeks a Facilities Manager to oversee the operation, maintenance and reliability of M&E systems across campus facilities, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and lifts.

You will manage hard FM contractors to meet SLAs, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and plan preventive and corrective maintenance. This role also supports A&A projects, testing, commissioning and energy efficiency initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities management for large campuses or schools.
• Strong knowledge of M&E systems, safety and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to plan preventive and corrective maintenance programmes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation, maintenance and reliability of M&E systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, lifts).
• Manage hard FM contractors to meet SLAs, regulations, and school policies.
• Plan and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programmes.
• Conduct inspections and audits of building services for safety and compliance.
• Attend to M&E faults; coordinate with contractors for quick resolution.
• Support A&A works, testing, commissioning and project improvements.
• Prepare scope of works, IOQs/ITTs, and assist in tender evaluation and contracts.
• Monitor performance, verify work, review reports and certify claims.
• Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health and fire safety regulations.
• Maintain documentation: logs, asset registers, test reports and certificates.
• Support energy management and efficiency initiatives.
