Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a skilled M&E Engineer to act as the key technical personnel in responding to site and client representatives.

You will oversee systems performance, lead preventive and corrective maintenance, support upgrades, and ensure regulatory compliance for building M&E systems. The role sits within Engineering and Technical Services and involves providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Degree in M&E Engineering or Building Services preferred with 3 years of relevant experience
• Proven experience in troubleshooting, fault diagnosis and implementing effective solutions
• Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Results-oriented with strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Demonstrate professional integrity with a collaborative approach to work

Responsibilities

• Monitor operational performance of M&E systems across sites and identify faults for timely intervention
• Act as escalation point for critical system failures and coordinate troubleshooting
• Review contractor activities and maintenance reports for compliance with schedules, quality and safety standards
• Lead M&E performance reviews, analyse energy use, costs and reliability to drive improvements
• Maintain and update asset registers and preventive maintenance plans
• Conduct periodic assessments of equipment condition and system readiness across properties
• Provide input for Capex and lifecycle replacement planning and cost-benefit analyses
• Support projects, fit-outs and upgrades by reviewing designs and ensuring maintainability
• Drive continuous improvement through benchmarking and sustainability initiatives to guide IFM leadership
