Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Building Services or related discipline.
• 6–7 years of relevant building M&E experience in Singapore.
• Experience in commercial and/or industrial building projects is an advantage.
• Familiar with ACMV, electrical power/lighting, fire protection and alarm, plumbing & sanitary, ELV systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and coordinate M&E drawings, technical submissions, and specs.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers on project execution and technical matters.
• Monitor site progress and ensure works meet project specifications, safety, and quality standards.
• Supervise installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of M&E systems.
• Ensure compliance with local codes and authority requirements (BCA, SCDF, PUB, EMA).
• Participate in project meetings and support overall project coordination activities.
• Assist in resolving technical and site coordination issues.
• Support project documentation, material submissions, and progress reporting.

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and experienced M&E Engineer / Senior M&E Engineer to join a well-established organisation involved in building services projects for commercial and industrial developments in Singapore. You will play a key role in engineering coordination, site supervision, design review, and project execution to ensure quality and timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and coordinate M&E engineering drawings, technical submissions, and specifications
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers on project execution and technical matters
• Monitor site progress and ensure works are carried out in accordance with project specifications, safety requirements, and quality standards
• Supervise installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of M&E systems
• Ensure compliance with local codes and authority requirements including BCA, SCDF, PUB, and EMA guidelines
• Participate in project meetings and support overall project coordination activities
• Assist in resolving technical and site coordination issues
• Support project documentation, material submissions, and progress reporting

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or related engineering discipline
• Minimum 6-7 years of relevant experience in building M&E projects in Singapore
• Experience in commercial and/or industrial building projects will be an advantage
• Familiar with ACMV, electrical power and lighting systems, fire protection and alarm systems, plumbing and sanitary systems, and ELV systems
• Proficient in AutoCAD; familiarity with BIM and CSD coordination preferred
• Knowledge of Singapore authority requirements and local codes of practice
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment

What We Offer

• Competitive salary: SGD 4,500-6,500 per month, commensurate with qualifications and experience
• Candidates with stronger experience and qualifications will be considered for a Senior M&E Engineer position
• Working Location: Jurong East
• Working Hours: 9AM - 6PM (Mon - Fri)
