Job summary

SWIFT SEARCH GLOBAL PTE. LTD.

is seeking an experienced M&E Coordinator to support the coordination and delivery of mechanical and electrical building services for construction projects in Jurong, Singapore. The role requires coordinating M&E across disciplines, reviewing drawings, and ensuring smooth installation, testing, commissioning and handover in collaboration with project teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services or Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Relevant experience as an M&E/MEP Coordinator within building construction.
• Experience in HDB or similar large-scale residential construction projects is a plus.
• Proficient reading of M&E drawings, shop drawings and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate M&E services including electrical, ACMV, plumbing, sanitary, fire protection and ELV systems.
• Review M&E shop drawings, technical submissions and project documentation.
• Coordinate M&E routing with structural and architectural works.
• Lead M&E coordination meetings and resolve clashes or technical issues.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and project teams on M&E requirements.
• Monitor M&E installation works to ensure compliance with drawings and specs.
• Track progress to meet project schedules and manage handover readiness.

Job Overview

We are seeking experienced M&E Coordinators to support the coordination and delivery of Mechanical & Electrical building services for construction projects.

The successful candidates will coordinate M&E systems across multiple disciplines and work closely with project teams, consultants, subcontractors and relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth installation, testing, commissioning and handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate M&E services including electrical, ACMV, plumbing, sanitary, fire protection and ELV systems.
• Review M&E shop drawings, technical submissions and related project documentation.
• Coordinate M&E services routing with structural and architectural works.
• Conduct and participate in M&E coordination meetings and resolve clashes or technical issues.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and project teams on M&E requirements.
• Monitor M&E installation works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.
• Monitor work progress and coordinate activities to meet project schedules.
• Coordinate relevant inspections, testing and commissioning activities.
• Liaise with relevant stakeholders on authority inspections and project requirements.
• Monitor M&E systems' readiness for testing and commissioning.
• Coordinate system completion, documentation and handover activities.
• Identify and resolve M&E coordination issues during project execution.
• Perform other relevant duties assigned in support of project delivery.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience as an M&E / MEP Coordinator within the building construction industry.
• Experience in HDB or similar large-scale residential construction projects will be an advantage.
• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• Able to read and interpret M&E drawings, shop drawings and technical documentation.
• Good understanding of M&E systems and coordination across structural and architectural disciplines.
• Familiarity with testing, commissioning and handover processes will be advantageous.
• Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work effectively with consultants, subcontractors and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Able to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines.
