Job summary

Kuan Aik Hong Construction Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an Electrical/Mechanical Engineer to monitor and report progress, coordinate RFA/RFI, shop drawings, and procurement, ensuring on-time project completion.

The ideal candidate has a PE Board Singapore recognized degree, at least three years of relevant Singapore building/construction experience, with strong M&E knowledge, and excellent communication to coordinate with site teams, clients, consultants and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Degree recognized by PE Board Singapore.
• Minimum 3 years’ work experience related to Singapore building/construction projects.
• Experience on HDB projects or high-rise developments.
• Strong knowledge of Electrical/Mechanical systems with hands-on experience.
• Strong communication and coordination with site teams.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and report on the progress of work to project manager.
• Control progress of RFA, RFI, Shop Drawings, Technical Submissions and Equipment/Material Procurement.
• Coordinate with client’s representatives, consultants, and subcontractors on technical matters.
• Control site progress and installation quality as per approved drawings and submissions.
• Assist with submission of progress claim evaluations and variation work.
• Participate in project review meetings, site meetings, design meetings.
• Carry out M&E technical meetings and resolve issues with records.

• Monitor and report on the progress of work to project manager;
• Control the progress of RFA, RFI, Shop Drawings, Technical Submissions and Equipment/Material Procurement/Fabrication/Delivery Status for on-time completion.
• Coordinate with client’s representatives, consultants, and subcontractors on all technical matters, including submission of method statement, drawings, materials, samples and work progress;
• Control site progress & installation quality as per approved Shop Drawings, Technical Submissions and Equipment/Material Procurement/Fabrication/Delivery Schedule for on-time completion.
• Assist for submission of evaluation of progress claim, variation work to M&E Manager
• Participate in all relevant project review meetings, site meetings, design meetings, and other project relevant meetings;
• Responsible for carrying out M&E technical meetings and resolving technical issues with record.

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, recognized by PE Board Singapore;
• Minimum 3 years’ work experience related projects in Singapore building and construction industry;
• Electrical/Mechanical Engineering experience in HDB projects or high-rise developments;
• Possess strong Electrical/Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experiences;
• Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate with site teams to execute work
