Job summary

Unitech E and C is seeking an experienced M&E Project Coordinator to oversee and coordinate mechanical and electrical works on site. You will ensure quality, safety, and conformance to standards while aligning with project timelines and stakeholders.

This role requires a degree in E&M and at least four years in construction, with strong communication skills to liaise with architects, design engineers, and client representatives.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in construction sector, preferably School/Nursing Home projects.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage all M&E works to ensure project execution.
• Supervise M&E works at sites to maintain quality and compliance.
• Ensure M&E works are completed on time, within budget and with safety compliance.
• Interpret and apply contract requirements to M&E works.
• Monitor progress and workmanship quality to meet specs.
• Prepare shop drawings for approval to facilitate construction.
• Develop M&E coordination drawings with design teams for approvals.
• Communicate effectively with project stakeholders.
• Execute control measures on material, plant, equipment and utilities usage.
• Meet targeted progress to achieve cash flow.

Job Descriptions:

• Coordinate and manage all mechanical and electrical (M&E) works to ensure seamless project execution
• Supervise and coordinate M&E works at project sites to maintain quality and compliance
• Ensure M&E works are completed on time, within budget, and comply with all relevant standards, codes of practice, and safety regulations
• Interpret and apply main contract and subcontract requirements to M&E works
• Monitor progress and workmanship quality to ensure adherence to project specifications and standards
• Prepare shop drawings for approval to facilitate construction processes
• Develop M&E coordination drawings and collaborate with Architectural Coordinators and Design Engineers to finalize drawings for approval
• Communicate effectively in verbal and written forms to coordinate with project stakeholders
• To execute control measures on material / plant & equipment / utilities usage
• Meet targeted progress of works so as to achieve the intended cash flow.

Job Requirements:
