Job summary

Poh Sia Construction & Engineering is seeking an experienced M&E coordinator to manage on-site activities, ensuring all electrical and mechanical works comply with contract specifications and regulatory requirements. The role demands accurate drawings, robust coordination with clients, consultants, and subcontractors, and timely submission of work programs.

The successful candidate will have a degree or diploma in engineering, at least 3 years in local construction, strong knowledge of M&E

Qualifications

Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the local construction industry.
Strong knowledge of local M&E standards, codes, and regulatory requirements.
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders.
Proficiency in CAD software.

Responsibilities

Review and understand contract requirements for M&E works and ensure designs comply with specifications and guidelines.
Coordinate M&E activities on-site and liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to meet contract requirements.
Develop and maintain M&E work programs and submission schedules.
Plan and prepare drawings to meet submission deadlines.
Produce detailed drawings and service plans based on design sketches.
Supervise and inspect M&E works to ensure quality, safety, and compliance.
Provide support for inspections and arrange all required authority and site inspections.
