Job summary

Marina Bay Sands is seeking a seasoned Sommelier to lead wine and sake service in our luxury restaurant and beverage program. You will curate the wine/sake list, train staff, and ensure impeccable guest experiences through expert recommendations and attentive service.

You will champion VIP guest engagement, upsell premium offerings, and collaborate with casino hosts and beverage teams to elevate Forbes-level service in a fast-paced luxury environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in the wine/sake trade and passion for wine/sake service.
• WSET or CMS certification would be an advantage.
• Excellent communication and VIP guest engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and regularly update wine/sake list and vintages.
• Lead and train service staff in wine knowledge and service standards.
• Upsell wines/sakes to guests and manage wine par levels and inventory.
• Collaborate with VIP hosts to enhance guest journeys and resolve issues promptly.
