Job summary

Marina Bay Sands is seeking an experienced Sommelier to lead the wine and sake program in our signature restaurant. You will curate pairings, upsell beverages, and ensure exemplary guest service in a busy, upscale setting in Singapore.

Responsibilities include inventory management, updating the beverage list, and coaching staff on wine, sake, and cocktails. A strong knowledge of vintages, service standards, and guest engagement is essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of wines, sakes, and cocktails; wine pairing with food.
• Excellent communication with guests and team; upselling when appropriate.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain wine and sake inventory, par levels and proper stock rotation.
• Provide wine and sake recommendations and pairings to guests to enhance dining experience.
• Update and maintain the beverage list; reflect current vintages and offerings.
• Communicate guest feedback to management for beverage program improvements.
• Ensure health and safety compliance and proper glassware handling.
