Job summary

Mandarin Oriental, Singapore is seeking a Reservations Officer to join our Reservations team. Based in Singapore, you will handle reservations by phone, email, and online systems, ensuring accurate data entry and timely confirmations.

You will collaborate with Front Office and Revenue Management to maximize occupancy while maintaining high service standards. Requirements include at least 1 year in a luxury hotel, fluent English, good computer skills, and excellent telephone etiquette.

• At least 1 year experience in luxury hotel industry.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Excellent telephone etiquette.
• Good computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming reservation requests via phone, email, and online booking systems.
• Enter reservation details into the property management system accurately and update bookings as needed.
• Confirm reservations and send booking confirmations promptly.
• Manage changes and cancellations and monitor occupancy levels to avoid overbooking.
• Provide information on rates, services, and promotions to guests and offer tailored recommendations.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
