Job summary

Accor Lounge at Changi Airport is hiring an Assistant Operations Manager to oversee Food & Beverage staff leadership and guest satisfaction. You will drive seamless lounge operations, ensure hygiene standards, and deliver exceptional service across shifts.

You will induct new staff, manage rosters, coach the team, and support projects while maintaining Accor's luxury hospitality standards in a multicultural environment.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to inspire and develop teams in a luxury service environment.
• Excellent customer service mindset with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Discretion in handling confidential information.
• Professional grooming, flexibility with shifts (including nights, weekends, public holidays).
• Multilingual ability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient, friendly, and professional food and beverage service to all guests.
• Ensure effective rostering for all Food & Beverage lounge operations as required
• Induct new staff into the team, department and Lounge in the first week of employment following guidelines.
• Carry out food and beverage stock and amenity orders as required.
• Maintain hygiene standards for food handling and presentation as prescribed by local and airport authorities, in accordance with Lounge and food safety plans.
• Ensure staff are competent in menu and beverage knowledge.
• Ensure all mise-en-place is completed prior to guest arrival and maintained throughout the day.
• Lead by example when attending to guest requests and strive for total customer satisfaction.
• Entertain guests and provide positive interaction when appropriate.
• Conduct ongoing on-the-job training and coaching to build a skilled, motivated, and guest-centric team.
• Support departmental leadership in handling new project implementations.
