Job summary

sggovterp is seeking an Assistant Manager/ Deputy Manager for Bus Operations Management (Routes) to coordinate with stakeholders, assess bus route corridors, and contribute to bus priority enhancements. The role emphasizes data-driven decision making and close collaboration across teams.

The candidate will be involved in roadwork inputs, bus trial assessments, and addressing feedback from commuters and operators to ensure safe and efficient bus operations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure safe bus route movements with feasible priority measures.
• Provide inputs on planned roadworks and consultations affecting bus routes and ensure safety and minimal disruption.
• Review bus route corridors and assess feasibility of traffic scheme enhancements for better bus priority and operations.
• Evaluate needs for bus trials to ensure capacity changes are safe for operations.
• Conduct operational reviews of private bus routes movements.
• Attend to feedback, complaints, and suggestions from commuters, operators, and the public on bus movements.

[What you will be working on]

[What you will be working on]

• To coordinate with relevant internal and external stakeholders to ensure public bus route movements are safe with provision of feasible bus priority measures.
• Provide inputs on planned roadwork and road diversion consultations along bus plying routes, and work with relevant internal/ external stakeholders to ensure that public bus movements remain safe and not adversely affected.
• Review existing bus route corridors and assess the feasibility of traffic scheme enhancements to enhance bus priority and bus operational movements.
• Review the requirement for bus trials to ensure that new, amended or increased capacity provision bus routes are safe for bus operations.
• Conduct operational review and analysis of private bus routes movement such as Little-India Bus Services.
• Attend to feedback/ complaints/ suggestions from commuters, bus operators, and members of public on matters pertaining to bus route movements.
• Perform any other duties assisgned by the Reporting Officer.
