Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced professional to design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications on the OutSystems platform. You will build integrations via REST/SOAP and SFTP, and optimize backend services using C#/.NET and SQL Server.

Responsibilities include end-to-end deployments, LifeTime/Service Center administration, and cloud support in AWS or GCC environments. Strong DevOps, problem-solving, and stakeholder skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven development experience on the OutSystems platform for enterprise-grade apps.
• Strong programming capabilities; experience with C#, .NET and SQL Server.
• Hands-on API integration experience (REST/SOAP) and automated file transfers (SFTP).
• Direct operational/platform administration experience.
• Cloud architecture knowledge; AWS or GCC exposure is a plus.
• Familiarity with modern DevOps practices, automated testing, and monitoring.
• Analytical, problem-solving, and RCA skills.
• Stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.

Job Description

• Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-performing, scalable applications using the OutSystems low-code platform.
• System Integration: Build, configure, and support robust system integrations using REST APIs, SOAP web services, and secure SFTP channels.
• Backend Engineering: Develop, test, and optimize critical backend services using C#, the .NET framework, and Microsoft SQL Server database environments.
• Lifecycle Management: Manage end-to-end application deployments, platform upgrades, code migrations, and environment configurations utilizing OutSystems LifeTime and Service Center.
• Cloud & Operations Support: Support cloud-hosted applications across AWS and Government Commercial Cloud (GCC) environments, managing IIS, Windows Server, basic networking, and security components.
• DevOps & Automation: Implement, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines, automated software testing frameworks, system monitoring, and observability practices.
• Incident Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve complex application, integration, database, and infrastructure issues in high-availability production environments.
• Problem Management: Perform thorough root cause analysis (RCA) for operational incidents to continuously improve platform reliability, performance, and automation.
• Security & Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to engineering best practices, application security, regulatory compliance, authentication/authorization protocols, and audit logging standards.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and cross-functional units to translate requirements into citizen-centric digital services.

Requirements

• Technical Core: Proven development experience focusing on the OutSystems platform for enterprise-grade applications.
• Development & Databases: Strong programming capability

• Platform Administration: Direct operational experience
• Cloud Infrastructure: Practical knowledge of cloud architectures, with a strong advantage for exposure to AWS or Government Commercial Cloud (GCC) infrastructure.
