FPT Asia Pacific is seeking an experienced Low Code Engineer (OutSystems Platform) with strong full‑stack engineering skills to design, develop, maintain, and support secure, scalable digital applications.

The role requires hands‑on OutSystems, C#/.NET, SQL Server, AWS, and modern frontend technologies, plus collaboration across cross‑functional teams to modernise applications, optimise performance, and implement automation.

Competenze

• Minimum 4 years of hands-on OutSystems development experience.

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Low Code Engineer (OutSystems Platform) with strong full-stack engineering expertise to design, develop, maintain, and support secure, scalable, and reliable digital applications.

The successful candidate will be responsible for application development, system integration, platform operations, cloud infrastructure, and production support. This role requires hands-on experience with OutSystems, C#/.NET, SQL Server, AWS, and modern frontend technologies.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to modernise existing applications, improve system performance, implement automation, and maintain high engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities

Application Development & Engineering

• Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable applications using the OutSystems platform.
• Build and maintain system integrations using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, and SFTP.
• Translate business requirements into maintainable technical solutions.
• Enhance existing applications to improve performance, reliability, and user experience.
• Participate in application architecture, technical design, and code reviews.
• Implement engineering best practices, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Maintain technical documentation and promote knowledge sharing.

Platform Operations & Production Support

• Manage OutSystems environments across development, testing, and production.
• Perform application deployments, upgrades, migrations, and environment configurations.
• Troubleshoot application, workflow, timer, integration, and platform-related issues.
• Monitor application performance using logs, metrics, and observability tools.
• Investigate production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
• Ensure application availability, reliability, and operational stability.

Cloud Infrastructure & Security

• Develop, deploy, and maintain applications hosted on AWS, Government Commercial Cloud (GCC), or equivalent cloud platforms.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure components, including IIS, Windows Server, SQL Server, and networking.
• Implement security best practices, including authentication, authorisation, encryption, and audit logging.
• Support infrastructure hardening, patching, backup, disaster recovery, and compliance activities.
• Improve infrastructure automation and operational efficiency through Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

Key Requirements

OutSystems Development

• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience developing and maintaining applications using OutSystems.
• Strong knowledge of OutSystems architecture, LifeTime, Service Center, deployment processes, and development best practices.
• Experience designing secure, scalable, and maintainable OutSystems applications.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot OutSystems application, workflow, timer, integration, and production issues.

Full-Stack Software Engineering

• Minimum 6 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of C# and .NET for backend application development and API integration.
• Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and frontend frameworks such as React or Vue.
• Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including database design, complex SQL queries, performance optimisation, and troubleshooting.
• Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs, SOAP services, and other integration technologies.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, GCC, or equivalent cloud platforms.
• Working knowledge of IIS, Windows Server, networking, security, high availability, and disaster recovery.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, monitoring, logging, and production incident management.
• Understanding of secure software development practices, including authentication, authorisation, encryption, and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues across application, database, integration, and infrastructure layers.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and practices is an advantage.
• Exposure to AI implementation or integration is an advantage.
