Job summary

PERSOL SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a skilled OutSystems Developer to build responsive web and mobile apps. You will translate requirements into reusable components, implement business logic, and integrate with REST/SOAP services. Strong SQL, front-end basics, and collaborative agile delivery are essential.

You will participate in code reviews, support deployments, and contribute to continuous improvement within a dynamic team in Singapore.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional software development with OutSystems.
• Hands-on knowledge of OutSystems Service Studio across interface, logic, data, integrations, security and deployment.
• Experience developing Reactive Web applications; exposure to mobile or Traditional Web apps is useful.
• Strong SQL knowledge and relational database concepts (entities, relationships, indexes, transactions, query optimization).
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, authentication patterns and error handling; SOAP integration is an advantage.
• Foundational front-end skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for UI customization.
• Experience with Git or equivalent VCS, Agile delivery practices and tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, documentation and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance responsive web and mobile applications using OutSystems, following approved architecture and coding standards.
• Translate user stories, process flows, wireframes and specs into maintainable components.
• Build interfaces, data models, business logic, validations, RBAC, timers and background processes.
• Design, consume and troubleshoot REST and SOAP integrations with enterprise systems and external services.
• Write and optimize SQL queries and data access while maintaining data integrity and performance.
• Perform unit testing, support SIT and UAT, and resolve defects within sprint timelines.
• Participate in peer reviews and use platform analysis tools to address quality, security, performance.
• Support deployment and environment promotion activities, including release notes and rollback planning.
• Investigate incidents and root-cause analysis, implement fixes and maintain docs.
• Contribute to sprint planning, estimation, stand-ups, demos, retrospectives and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance responsive web and mobile applications using OutSystems, following the approved architecture, coding standards and reusable design patterns.
• Translate user stories, process flows, wireframes and functional specifications into maintainable application components.
• Build user interfaces, data models, business logic, validations, role-based access controls, timers and background processes.
• Design, consume and troubleshoot REST and SOAP integrations with enterprise systems and external services.
• Write and optimise SQL queries, aggregates and data access logic while maintaining data integrity and acceptable performance.
• Perform unit testing, support SIT and UAT, and resolve defects within agreed sprint timelines.
• Participate in peer reviews and use platform analysis tools to address code quality, security, performance and maintainability findings.
• Support deployment and environment promotion activities, including release notes, deployment checks, rollback planning and post-release validation.
• Investigate incidents and production issues, perform root-cause analysis, implement fixes and maintain clear technical documentation.
• Contribute to sprint planning, estimation, stand-ups, demonstrations, retrospectives and continuous improvement.

Essential Qualifications

• At least 2 years of professional software development experience, with hands-on delivery on the OutSystems platform.
• Working knowledge of OutSystems Service Studio across interface, logic, data, integrations, security and deployment.
