Job summary

Soon San Trading Services Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Logistics Scheduler to join our team in Singapore. You will manage and optimize the flow of goods in our distribution network and ensure timely delivery to customers from our Kampong Ubi office.

The role requires strong analytical skills, effective communication with drivers and stakeholders, and proficiency with logistics software. Shift work includes mornings and afternoons with a 6-day work week, Sat WFH.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a logistics scheduling or supply chain planning role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to optimise complex logistics workflows.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficient in using logistics management software and data analysis tools.
• Knowledge of transportation regulations, customs procedures and industry best practices.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls and emails; schedule and confirm jobs; input data into systems.
• Manage daily operations of route and distribution activities; deploy resources efficiently.
• Communicate delivery schedule to drivers daily.
• Monitor job completion for compliance and completion.
• Track, data entry and filing of records and paperwork.
• Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports/exports, or customer issues.
• Plan or implement improvements to internal or external logistics systems or processes.

About the role

Soon San is seeking an experienced Logistics Scheduler to join our growing team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the flow of goods and materials within our distribution network, ensuring efficient and timely delivery to our customers. The role is based at our office in Kampong Ubi, Central Region.

Shift work: 7am - 4pm and 11am - 8pm
6 days work week; Sat WFH

What you'll be doing

• Quickly answers calls and emails, schedules and confirms jobs, and inputs customer data into company systems
• Manage daily operations of the route and distribution activities of the fleet to ensure that customers, assets and service requirements are employed efficiently
• Communicates delivery schedule to drivers daily.
• Monitor jobs completion to ensure compliance and completion.
• Tracking, data entry, and filing of records and paperwork.
• Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports, or customer issues.
• Plan or implement improvements to internal or external logistics systems or processes.
