Job summary

WT MICROELECTRONICS SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to manage daily distribution operations, including receiving, pick & pack, quality control, and inventory management.

You will lead a team of warehouse assistants and group leaders, ensuring efficient operations and strong service quality. The role emphasizes optimizing processes, coordinating with other departments, and driving improvements to meet customer requirements.

Job description

JOB PURPOSE:

• To manage and supervise all aspects of daily distribution operations of the department, including receiving, pick & pack, quality control, inventory management and reverse logistics.
• Optimize operational efficiencies to fully meet customer requirements.
• Managing a team of warehouse assistants and group leaders

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Warehouse Supervisors lead a team of group leader(s) and Warehouse Assistant(s) to ensure smooth and efficient operations of the department.
• Warehouse Supervisors provide overall leadership for the department in managing staffs’ performance, and resolving any manpower or operations issues
• Warehouse Supervisors plan and manage efficient allocation of resources and works closely with other departments in resource allocation and deployment.
• Warehouse Supervisors will work closely with Warehouse Senior Executive/ Operations Manager to review, introduce and drive new processes or initiatives to meet operational needs and requirements
• Warehouse Supervisors will act as a liaison with other departments or internal relevant parties to resolve any operational issues or queries and perform the follow up
• Warehouse Supervisors plan inventory programs via regular cycle count, inventory analysis and related reporting.
• Warehouse Supervisors work with Administrative Assistant to ensure sufficient and timely deliveries of packaging materials are available for daily operational usage.
• This role involves WORKING WITH THINGS, using the hands, or special tools or equipment. Activities include doing practical and physical tasks, and may require an understanding of how equipment or machinery works.

JOB CONTENT (PRIMARY & SECONDARY FUNCTIONS):

• Lead the team to fulfill department’s operations in a timely and efficient manner and maintaining service quality
• Motivate staffs and manage their performance; resolving any manpower or operational issues
• Work closely with other departments’ supervisors/group leaders on resources allocation & deployment
• Work closely with Warehouse Senior Executive/Superior in charge to review, introduce and drive any process improvement and changes
• Work closely with other departments and internal customers to resolve any operational queries or issues
• Plan and ensure compliance of cycle counting programs
• Work closely with Warehouse Administrative Assistant to ensure sufficient and timely delivery of packaging materials for the operations usage
• Assist the Senior Executive or superior in charge on any tasks assigned to him

RECOMMENDED CREDENTIALS:

QUALIFICATIONS

• At least a Tertiary Qualification in a relevant field of study.

• 5 years of prior relevant experience is required for this position.
