Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a logistics or warehouse supervisory role.
• Proven track record of successfully managing and leading logistics teams.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems and logistics operations.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
• Sound understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations within the logistics industry.
• Demonstrated ability to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
• Proficiency in relevant software systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and managing logistics team members to ensure optimal performance.
• Monitoring warehouse operations such as materials handling.
• Coordinating with other departments to ensure efficient movement/collection of goods and timely delivery to clients.
• Scheduling and planning logistics operations to maximise resource utilisation and meet delivery deadlines.
• Maintaining health and safety standards across all logistics activities and conducting regular safety briefings.
• Tracking and reporting on key performance indicators, including on-time delivery rates and operational efficiency metrics.
• Resolving operational challenges and implementing process improvements to enhance productivity.
• Training and developing team members to improve their skills and performance.
• Maintaining accurate documentation and records of all logistics activities and transactions.
