Job summary

BUSINESS EDGE PERSONNEL SERVICES PTE LTD is seeking a Logistics Assistant (Operations / WMS) at our Tuas location. The role involves maintaining and updating WMS records for shipments, managing inventory, and coordinating deliveries and customer orders.

Due to the requirement for hands-on driving, a valid Class 3 driving licence with driving experience is compulsory. The job also covers billing support, audits, and regulatory compliance tasks as part of daily operations.

Qualifications

• Experience using WMS systems for inbound/outbound logistics.
• Ability to manage inventory records and daily operational reports.
• Experience coordinating deliveries and liaising with customers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update WMS records for inbound/outbound shipments, import/export activities, duty payments and vehicle movements.
• Manage inventory records, warehouse locations and daily operational reports.
• Coordinate vehicle deliveries and collections, and liaise with customers on orders and arrangements.
• Prepare shipping documents, permits, transaction records and defect reports.
• Coordinate with operations controllers to arrange deliveries and confirm customer orders.
• Handle billing, verify invoices and assist with monthly financial projections.
• Support ISO audits, SOP compliance, toolbox meetings and workplace safety/5S activities.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore Customs, LTA and other regulatory requirements .
• Conduct monthly cycle counts and bi-annual stock takes.
• Prepare KPI and customer reports.
• Assist with first aid kit maintenance and provide general operational support..
