Job summary

STAR 2027 PTE. LTD. is seeking a logistics professional in Singapore to oversee end-to-end transportation management, warehouse and inventory oversight, and cost control initiatives. You will address shipping delays, manage carrier relationships, supervise daily warehouse tasks, lead a team, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

The role focuses on optimizing operations, reducing costs, and ensuring timely delivery while maintaining high standards of accuracy and safety in all processes.

Responsibilities

• Transportation Management: Plan inbound and outbound shipments, plot delivery routes, select shipping carriers, and negotiate carrier rates and contracts.
• Warehouse & Inventory Oversight: Manage warehouse inventory levels, monitor stock accuracy, and supervise daily receipt, picking, packing, and shipping tasks.
• Budget & Cost Control: Monitor operational budgets, analyze logistics expenditures, and find ways to cut freight and storage costs.
• Problem Resolution: Address and solve shipment delays, damages, or customer complaints quickly.
• Team Leadership: Supervise warehouse staff, train logistics coordinators, and lead daily team meetings.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure all storage, shipping, and handling operations follow local and international safety regulations and laws.
