Responsibilities

• Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize processes and improve efficiency.
• Manage the entire supply chain process, including procurement, transportation, inventory management, and distribution.
• Oversee inventory levels and implement strategies to minimize stockouts and excess inventory using inventory management software.
• Plan and coordinate transportation routes with carriers, freight forwarders, and shipping agents to ensure on-time delivery.
• Manage warehouse operations, including storage, picking, packing, and shipping; optimize layout for space and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and maintain accurate records related to shipments, customs and inventory.
• Monitor KPIs to assess effectiveness of logistics operations and implement corrective actions.
• Lead and motivate a team of logistics professionals, fostering collaboration and continuous development.

Logistics Strategy Development

Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize processes and improve efficiency. Identify areas for cost savings and performance improvement in logistics operations.

Supply Chain Management

Manage the entire supply chain process, including procurement, transportation, inventory management, and distribution. Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors to ensure timely delivery of goods.

Inventory Control

Oversee inventory levels and implement strategies to minimize stockouts and excess inventory. Utilize inventory management software to track inventory movement and optimize stock levels.

Transportation Coordination

Plan and coordinate transportation routes to optimize efficiency and reduce costs. Liaise with carriers, freight forwarders, and shipping agents to ensure on-time delivery of shipments.

Warehousing and Distribution

Manage warehouse operations, including storage, picking, packing, and shipping. Optimize warehouse layout and processes to maximize space utilization and productivity.

Compliance and Documentation

Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and laws governing transportation and logistics operations. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to shipments, customs, and inventory.

Performance Monitoring and Analysis

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of logistics operations. Analyze data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

Team Leadership

Lead and motivate a team of logistics professionals, providing guidance, training, and support. Foster a collaborative work environment and promote continuous learning and development.

Job Requirements
