Job summary

Panasonic Asia Pacific Pte Ltd is seeking a Logistics Executive to support freight procurement, contract management, and market analysis across ocean FCL/LCL, air and land transportation. The role requires close coordination with internal stakeholders and logistics providers, plus strong IT and data skills for reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience and knowledge of international shipping, freight forwarding and logistics activities are essential.
• Strong IT and data analytics skills, including advanced MS Excel. Experience with Power BI, Power Query, dashboard creation, datamodelling or datavisualization will be a strong advantage.
• Ability to crunch, validate, consolidate and interpret large sets of freight, volume, cost, KPI and market data accurately.
• Proficiency in MS PowerPoint and Word for preparation of management reports, presentation material and documentation.
• Good communication skills with internal stakeholders, carriers and logistics service providers.
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented with strong interpersonal skills and willingness to learn.
• Able to work independently and manage deadlines with ownership mindset to complete tasks.

Responsibilities

• Participate in annual and ad-hoc freight procurement activities across ocean FCL/LCL, air freight and land transportation.
• Support RFQ/tender preparation, rate analysis, nomination updates, contract term reviews and follow-up with carriers, forwarders and logistics service providers.
• Prepare monthly volume, tonnage, KPI, cost and performance evaluation reports for management and business stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, Excel analysis models and other reporting tools to support data-driven freight procurement decisions.
• Conduct shipping market analysis including SCFI and bunker trend monitoring, freight rate movements and market research.
• Communicate effectively with internal departments and external parties to clarify requirements and ensure smooth implementation of freight arrangements.
• Support improvement and digitalization initiatives to enhance reporting efficiency, data accuracy, procurement visibility and workflow standardization.
