Job summary

Hanwha Ocean EPU in Singapore seeks an experienced logistics professional to plan and execute supply chain activities supporting global EPC projects. You will ensure safe, compliant, and cost-efficient movement of materials and equipment across sites and yards.

Qualifications

  • Good understanding of Incoterms, import/export rules, and project shipment coordination.
  • Strong coordination, problem-solving, and communication ability.
  • English communication skills required.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and check shipping and customs documentation.
  • Track shipments and update logistics status reports.
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and vendors.
  • Support delivery scheduling to yards, warehouses, or sites.
  • Escalate shipment exceptions and document discrepancies.
  • Maintain logistics records in project systems.

Position Overview

This role is responsible for planning and executing supply chain and logistics activities to support project delivery across global operations. The position ensures safe, compliant, and efficient movement of materials and equipment.

The incumbent manages or supports logistics planning, customs coordination, material control, and inventory management activities, ensuring alignment with project schedules and operational requirements. The role collaborates with procurement, project, and site teams to ensure timely material availability and data accuracy.

The position plays a critical role in optimizing supply chain performance, reducing risks, and ensuring cost efficiency across logistics and material flows.

This role requires strong coordination capability, supply chain expertise, and understanding of global logistics and EPC project requirements.

The role supports reliable and cost-effective project delivery by integrating procurement strategy, supplier performance, subcontract management, contract administration, logistics planning, and material availability with project priorities. It is expected to maintain close coordination with engineering, quality, construction, finance, and project controls to ensure that supply chain activities support schedule commitments, technical compliance, and commercial objectives.

At this level, the role independently executes assigned activities, coordinates interfaces, and supports timely completion of deliverables while applying established procedures and professional judgment. The position is expected to contribute practical solutions, maintain document and data quality, and support continuous improvement through disciplined execution and active collaboration.
