Job summary

Woodside Petroleum Ltd is seeking a Commercial LNG Trade Senior Operator in Singapore. You will play a pivotal role in supporting LNG trading activities, acting as the interface between traders and stakeholders to ensure flawless end-to-end execution of cargoes on the global value chain.

The role acts as the control tower for LNG cargo execution, minimising disruptions and unlocking optimisation opportunities while maintaining compliance and delivering value for the portfolio.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years’ experience in LNG, gas or oil trading operations.
• Strong understanding of LNG logistics, contracts and market dynamics.
• Degree is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end commercial execution of physical LNG cargoes, ensuring trades are captured, executed, and delivered safely.
• Coordinate between LNG Traders and stakeholders including cargo operations, shipping, scheduling, risk, finance, and legal.
• Monitor cargo movements and milestones, manage schedule changes and delivery adjustments.
• Lead resolution of cargo execution challenges and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Support trading and portfolio optimisation through diversions, timing adjustments and destination optimisation.
• Identify risks, develop contingency plans, and protect portfolio value while maintaining compliance.
• Maintain LNG trade data across systems and deliver regular operational reports.
• Build relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders as the primary commercial interface.
